How to reset or change your Joomla administrator password?

If you want to change the joomla administrative password then you can run the simple MYSQL query and you can change the joomla admin .
If you are using the cPanel control panel as for hosting, then follow the below steps.
==>Login to the cPanel Control Panel
==>Please click on the PhpMyAdmin under Database section
Note : Please login through the client login , If you login through the root login you can not be able to connect your mysql database
==>After clicking on the PhpMyAdmin it has opening the database with new tab or window.
==>Now you can able to see the Joomla database in the left menu
==>Select the Joomal database and click on the SQL on the top menu
==>and write the below SQL queries.
UPDATE `jom_users` SET `password` = MD5( ‘new_password’ ) WHERE `jom_users`.`username` = “admin” ;
Please Note : new_password ==>Write your new password , admin ==>write your new user if you want to change

after that please click on the Go buttons and run the SQL query.
Now you can login with your new joomla User ID and Password.

If you are install the Joomla at the widow server with the plesk panel
Please follow the below steps.
==>Login to your plesk panel
==>Please click on the particular domain or subdomain under which you had install the joomla application.
==>Click on the Application and Services
==>Under this click on Database
==>Click on your Joomla Database and then click on the WebAdmin icon
==>and then you can connect to your Joomla MySql DAatabase
==>and write the below SQL queries.
UPDATE `jom_users` SET `password` = MD5( ‘new_password’ ) WHERE `jom_users`.`username` = “admin” ;
Please Note : new_password ==>Write your new password , admin ==>write your new user if you want to change

after that please click on the Go buttons and run the SQL query.
Now you can login with your new joomla User ID and Password.

If you are install the Joomla at the widow server with the WebSite panel
==>Login to the website panel
==>click on the database for which you had install the joomla
==>Please click on the database connecting Icon which has available on the
right side of the database name.
==>and then you can connect to your Joomla MySql DAatabase
==>and write the below SQL queries.
UPDATE `jom_users` SET `password` = MD5( ‘new_password’ ) WHERE `jom_users`.`username` = “admin” ;
Please Note : new_password ==>Write your new password , admin ==>write your new user if you want to change

After that please click on the Go buttons and run the SQL query.
Now you can login with your new joomla User ID and Password.
